Recognition and Support

Yoga Australia

We are registered with Yoga Australia because they offer access, for all our graduates, to valuable services and resources that support their ongoing professional development. We also admire their structure of developing teacher training courses that are presented by teachers with at least 10 years experience in teaching, and 1000 hrs of personal training. We feel this gives our teachers in training an authentic and integrative experience of all the aspects of becoming a Yoga Teacher.

Hear what our past students have to say

‘A lifetime of confidence in 12 weekends.’

‘I learned to trust myself. I learned that I am not my mind or the stories my mind tells me but rather the awareness underneath, that which doesn’t judge, it just is. I learned that I could exist from that space and just be in my body not my mind – freedom!’

‘The course opened up a world of opportunity, for me, towards freedom from anxiety and depression, better stress management, most importantly SELF ACCEPTANCE and tolerance of others. A point to grow from and the skills to do so.’

‘I never expected the course to completely change me. It was an emotional journey of truth. I felt a bond like no other with my ‘yoga’ family that will always be there, no matter how many years go by. Thank you for making a dream become a reality.’

In life we create this persona, not intentionally, but because we take on so many roles and life experience shapes us. We can forget who the essence of us are. Teacher training with Jo and Laura has been amazing, we strip it all back and recognize those things we are holding onto, and find a way to release old habits, to find love and embrace the real you. Everyone deserves to experience this’

‘My life is totally different now on an inner level. I may appear pretty much the same on the outside maybe just a bit happier and calmer, however, the biggest changes have been internal. I am now more aware of my previous disabling self-talk, my judgement of self and others and the suffocation of my inner voice. I am now practising gratitude on a daily basis inwardly and outwardly. I continue to stumble and fall into old patterns at times, though quickly forgive myself and start again. I am now more expansive in how I see everything and realise how much more I can be.’

‘Jo’s teachings are so much more than learning physical postures! I never imagined this course would impact my life the way it did and how much I learned about life and especially about myself as a Being. Yoga is a JOURNEY and you can’t find a better guide. Thankyou Jo’

‘ Yoga Rhythms Teacher Training is one of the best things that happened to me in my 40’s. The question; what is life about? can arise at any time and any age. Is there an answer? Hard to say. This course helped me to understand a lot. About myself mostly. A huge eye-opener and life-changer’

‘Wow! this course has been life-changing in every way, it has given me so much confidence to do things I haven’t done before. During the course I overcame fears. I can’t wait to get out there and share the most amazing thing that yoga is’
