Yin yoga places a small, healthy amount of stress on your joints and connective tissue (fascia, tendons and ligaments) by tensioning or compressing the tissue. The intention is to release tension and hydrate the fascia keeping it supple and improving mobility in the body. Yin also moves blocked ‘chi’ in the body and nourishes meridians, assisting with emotional, mental and physical health.

In Yin 2 – We explore our energetic imprints through the filters of Ayurvedic Organ Energies and the Chakras. Are you ready to delve through the layers of karmic conditioning and experience the tranquillity that lies beneath?  Jo will continue on from what was learnt in Yin 1, and guide you through the theory behind yin yoga, dive deeply into the poses, learn how to safely practise Yin yoga as well as teach it to others.
