Eileen Hartley, Teacher, Yoga Rhythms

My love of yoga and the benefits both physically and mentally allows me to be able to enjoy life to its fullest, to discover who I am. After leaving school I worked in a bank and a few years later I brought into the world and raised 3 children. I then spent some time working in aged care. During this time I was a jogger and squash player with a deep interest in stretching techniques. We then moved to Queensland in 1994. Old injuries and their effects on my body, started to prevent me from leading an active life. Getting no help from the medical profession, I visited the library for books on back care, where I picked up a yoga video. And that was the start of my yoga journey to wellness

I practiced yoga everyday at home from a video for about a year. Joined a gym where I attended yoga classes and received guidance from Jo Moore. The first time I walked into her class I KNEW this was the right path for me. With the support and encouragement of Jo, I then undertook the Yoga Rhythms Teacher Training in 2007. Since then I have been teaching and sharing all the benefits that the practice of yoga brings to those who attend my classes.
